Rules and Regulation

Introduction

In the month of 1st April Year 2008, Drama and Dance Club has evolved to “Drama and Dance Society”. The formally Drama and Dance society is more likely to be the academic society that gives build a traditional and conservative perception. But after the revolution, it’s now added in different kind of interesting issues.
Drama and Dance, both of it focuses on taking humanity's soul and the spirit as a starting point. So our members are train to show their spirit and soul to reach out their message. Regardless of dance or drama, the role of reacting is the most important element; it might construct the people mind and body movement, in this moment the person who stand on the stage can do one's best to unfold oneself most has self-confident perfect one side.

The Objective： Drama and Dance Society more concentrate on the unity of the members. Our goal is to make sure our members in society perform with “perfectness and the best” on the stage and makes the contribution to the college and the country.


Rights and Duty

1. Every members of society must fill in the member form and pay Rm10 for member fee.
2. The members of Drama and Dance society must be patience, serious and passionate drama and dance.
3. Co-operate with the management team and the college is a MUST!
4. Every member of society must participate at least 2/3 activity of the society.
5. Every member should be observing the rule of the society and the college regulation.
6. The members have their right to choose the group in the society as they like (Dance group/Drama group/both)
7. All the members have the opportunity to participate in the performance team with the group of their choice.
8. Members must be the Han Chiang College Student.

Annual General Meeting

1. The Annual General Meeting is the biggest conference that will be held by November every year.
2. The member of Drama and Dance Society must attend this meeting and have the right to vote.
3. The goal is: Discussion further activity, progress of society and reelection of the committees (exclude chairman).
4. The numbers of member in the meeting must be at least 2/3 of the members of the society otherwise the meeting will be expires immediately.
5. When there’s a case that this meeting must be called urgent, it must be held in either of these conditions:
- Requested by the chairperson.
- Agreement by ½ of the committes.
- Requested by ¾ of the members.



Rights of General Meeting.
1. May recall by the Chairman.
2. Proposes the revision regulation request.
3. lodges the protest (if serious)

Instructor and Teacher Advisor.
1. The Teacher Advisor must be a lecturer of Han Chiang College.
2. The Instructor has just the right to teach the members but not interfere in the rules and regulation of society.



Election:
1. The Chairperson must be selected by the previous Chairperson.
2. Before the Election start members must register and mark their attendance, then only the election may be started.
3. The Secretary must record the minutes in detail.
4. The Candidates must be nominated by someone following with the reason why and seconded by another party.

The Organization and Duty
1．The council of Drama and Dance Society is called as Team Management.
2．Team Management is the most important organization in the society, responsible to manage the society.
3．Team Management was control the main three group (Group of Drama, Group of Event and Group of Dance.)

@The Team Management must be lead by Chairperson or vice Chairperson, following with the Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, General Affair Officer, and Assistant Affair Officer.
@The Group Society is organizing by Leader of Promotion, Planning, Activity, Dance Group, and Group Drama with the instruction of Chairperson or vice Chairperson.

Assistant Affairs OfficerChairman：
1. Request the general meeting as well and understanding the whole motion of the society.
2. Supervise the whole motion of activity.
3. In holds in front of the general meeting, must calls internal conference with the management team and the group Society.
4. Training up the next chairperson.
5. The Chairperson positions are limited in 1 year for each person who held the position of Chairperson.
6. When the Chairperson is unavailable, vice-Chairman will have the authority to speak for the position.
7. Assign every position’s job scope.

Treasurer：
1. The key person to manage the finance of society.
2. Manage the society’s fund wisely.
3. Keeps and account book and make sure the account is marked correctly without any failure.
4. The account is not for private use.
5. All financial authorization must approved by Treasurer and Chairperson.
6. Prepare the financial report every month and pass it up once a year to the admin.
Secretary
1. Speak and write fluent basic language (Chinese, Malay, and English).
2. Each item of conference must be recorded to the minutes.
3. Hold a file contains all the minute and will pass it up as references to the admin every year.
4. Must be responsible and reliable.
5. Make sure all documents are kept well.

General Affair Officer

1. More to servicing.
2. Management of society’s property emergency changing.
3. Prevent disagreement and misunderstanding in the society.
4. Supervises the member custom.
5. Make sure the job that are assigned to the group society is accomplished due to date and perfectly.
6. Know the rule as well as possible.

1. Promote the activity of society and events.
2. Responsible in publicity of society.
3. Recruit new members to form a team for publicity.
4. Take care and design of those poster and banners when it’s needed.

Leader- Planning
1. Plan the activities and events for society.
2. Assistance other group.
3. Activities must be discussed with the Chairperson to get approval.

Leader- Activity
1. Make sure the events and activities go smooth and plan for the schedule of the day.
2. Make sure the duties of members.
3. Must attend in every activity.
4. The key person to make the activities and events alive.

Leader- Group Drama
1. Provides training about drama to members.
2. Always prepare for next performances.
3. Create good image of the society.
4. Co-operate with other group.

Leader- Dance Group
1. Provides training about dance to members.
2. Always prepare for next performances.
3. Create good image of the society.
4. Co-operate with other group.


Advisor***
1. Must be previous Chairman。
2. Assist the Chairman, discuss all about society and give advice.
3. Have no rights in making any decision.



Rules and Regulation

1. Do not break the college regulation and national law.
2. Do NOT involve in any drugs, porno, and violent activities.
3. Every member must compulsory attend at least 2/3 of the activities, absent will request a reasonable excuse.
4. The meeting must be called either by the Chairperson or vice Chairperson.
5. The activities without Chairman’s Permission are not allowed.
6. Defend and create the good image of the society.
7. Protect the Rights of Drama and Dance.
8. The Management Team and the Group Society that violates the law must be disbanding from his/her membership immediately.
9. The Management Team and the Group Society are deficient in carrying out one's responsibility will be forfeit from pose after 3 warnings.
10. In any activity, every member is required to stay calm and unite.
11. Punctuality is a MUST!
12. Food are not allowed during the meeting unless get the permission of the Chairperson.

Finance

1. The members will pay the members fee RM10
2. The activity may look for the supplier in addition.
3. This mass organization is willing to accept the sponsor.
4. The performance will reward the money to divide 10% for the society funds.
